(Thursday, April 1, 2010) -- United States midfielder Freddy Adu is apparently now back in the good graces of Aris Thessaloniki's Argentinean coach Hector Cuper, who had called Adu out publicly for not working hard enough in training.
For only the third time since arriving in Greece, Adu started and went the distance for Aris, which defeated Levadiakos 1-0 on Sunday. American striker Eddie Johnson also started and played 62 minutes for Aris.
In the German Bundesliga, U.S. defender Steve Cherundolo played 90 minutes and scored Hannover 96's only goal a 4-1 road loss to FC Cologne Saturday. Down by four goals, Cherundolo bent a free kick around the right side of the wall and into the upper corner of the net in the 82nd minute for his first goal of the season.
American forward Sal Zizzo, who continues to recover from a knee injury, did not make the trip for Hannover.
U.S. midfielder Michael Bradley, serving a one-match yellow card suspension and recovering from nose surgery, did not dress for Borussia Moenchengladbach, which picked up a badly-needed victory 1-0 Sunday over Hamburg SV.
U.S. midfielder Ricardo Clark has recovered from injury, dressed, but did not play for Eintracht Frankfurt in a 2-1 win Friday over VfL Bochum.
American midfielder Jared Jeffrey did not dress for FC Mainz 05's in a 2-0 loss Saturday to VfL Wolfsburg.

In France, U.S. defender Carlos Bocanegra played 90 minutes for Stade Rennes, which defeated Le Mans 3-1 Sunday.
In Scotland, U.S midfielder Maurice Edu played the final 27 minutes for Glasgow Rangers in a 4-1 decision Saturday over Heart of Midlothian. American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley was dressed, but didn't play for Rangers.
In Denmark, American forward Chris Rolfe came on in the 75th minute for Aalborg BK in a 1-1 draw Saturday with FC Nordsjaelland.
Aalborg BK's American striker Marcus Tracy has developed tendonitis in his knee from an injury he received in the U.S. men's camp in January. He gas been ruled out for the remainder of this season and is on his way back to the U.S. to receive treatment from a specialist.
U.S. midfielder Benny Feilhaber returned from an ankle injury last night, coming off the bench in the 69th minute for AGF Aarhus in a 4-0 victory over Esbjerg. He missed almost six weeks.
Michael Parkhurst dressed but did not play for FC Nordsjaelland in a 1-1 draw Saturday with Aalborg BK.
In Sweden, American midfielder Alejandro Bedoya played 90 minutes in Orebro's 2-0 home loss to Mjaellby.
In Norway, U.S. defenders Clarence Goodson and Hunter Freeman both went the distance on IK Start's backline in a 1-1 draw Saturday with Molde.
Nineteen-year-old American midfielder Mikkel Diskerud scored a goal in a 90-minute effort for Stabaek in its 2-2 draw with Aaelsunds Saturday.
