    Chelsea McIntyre made 11 saves to cap off a successful weekend for Arizona in which she posted a pair of shutouts and the Wildcats won twice. The most dramatic triumph came Sunday when UA held Hawai'i scoreless for nearly 97 minutes before prevailing 1-0. McIntyre made 11 saves, three of them in sudden death, before freshman Guanna DeSaverio scored the winner in overtime to give UA the title in its Four Points Sheraton Cats Classic for the third time in five years.

    On Friday, McIntyre made five stops in a 1-0 decision over Gonzaga. Arizona is off to a 4-2 start. McIntyre has played every minute in goal, recording three shutouts and a 0.96 goals-against average.

    McIntryre played in only one game as a freshman.

    Lehtinen's four goals lifted Florida Atlantic (2-2-2) to its first two victories of the season last weekend, including finding net in a second sudden-death overtime period Friday to vanquish its nearby rival, previously undefeated Miami (Fla.) 2-1.

    After Alicia Tirelli gave FAU the equalizer against Miami (5-1) with 2:30 remaining in regulation, Lehtinen provided the coup de grâce by putting away the winner in the 12th minute of extra time. She then recorded three goals Sunday in a 4-0 whitewash of Stetson.

    Brittany Timko scored four goals to help Nebraska (3-0-2) remain undefeated with a pair of wins over the weekend. The Canadian started by netting all three goals in a 3-2 triumph Friday over North Texas, the fourth hat trick of her career, leaving her one short of the five of Kim Engesser's record in that category.

    The psychology major followed that with a tally in a 4-1 win over Drake Sunday. Timko, who leads the Cornhuskers with four goals and three assists, has recorded a goal or an assist in eight straight games dating back to the last season.

    Jessica O’Rourke had a hand in all five of her team's goals to spark undefeated North Carolina State (5-0-1) to two victories in its Summit Hospitality Invitational. O’Rourke registered her first career hat trick to drop Georgia State 3-0 Friday. In a 2-0 decision over previously flawless American (4-1) Sunday, she helped stake the Wolfpack to a 1-0 lead by feeding Lindsay Vera's sixth-minute goal, then added insurance with a tally in the 31st.

    O’Rourke leads the Wolfpack in goals (5), points (12), shots (23) and game-winning goals (2).

    A senior co-captain, Carrie DeFreece scored all three goals for Indiana which won twice to capture the title of its Old National Bank Hoosier Classic. DeFreece was named tournament "Most Valuable Player."

    DeFreece put away the only goal in a 1-0 victory Friday over Northern Arizona, beating a defender before lofting a shot from the right side of the box into the top far corner of the net.

    She followed up with her first multi-goal game of her career, beating Wisconsin-Milwaukee 2-0 Sunday with goals in the 13th and 24th minutes as the Hoosiers (3-2-1) won thier third straight.

    Everrett chipped in three goals and added one assist as No. 7 West Virginia rolled to a pair of wins, running the Mountaineers' record to 6-0, the best start in school history.

    Ranked 11th when it entered the weekend, WVU surprised then-No. 8 Penn State 2-1 Friday. Everrett scored what would be the game-winning goal in the 50th minute, sprinting past the defense to receive Amanda Cicchini’s pass and nail the left corner of the net to make it 2-0. The Nittany Lions (2-2-2) saw their string of 20 consecutive games without a loss against a ranked opponent end.

    On Sunday, the general studies student scored two goals and assisted on another as WVU set a school record for goals in a game in an 8-0 rout of St. Bonaventure.

    Everrett has a team-high seven goals.
