(Tuesday, September 12, 2000) -- With a 15-hour time difference, all the U.S. men's soccer matches at the Olympics will begin at 5 a.m. (ET). The September 30 gold medal match will begin at 9 p.m.

The U.S. women's matches generally will start at 3:30 a.m. with the exception of the opening match which will begin at 2 a.m., as will the bronze medal match. The September 28 gold medal match will start at 5 a.m.

The United States matches will be broadcast on the special MSNBC feed on a delayed basis. The opening U.S. men's match, tomorrow against the Czech Republic and the opening women's match against Norway Thursday be shown on same-day delay from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thereafter, the soccer matches will be shown in their entirety during longer blocks of time, though not necessarily consecutively with the possibility of being broken into pieces and interspersed with other events.

The current schedule calls for the U.S. soccer teamsí games to be aired within the following blocks of Eastern times, though it is advised to check regularly for changes and updates.
