Fantasy Football ones to watch season 2018/19 gameweek 32

|

After a break for international action, the Premier League is back for gameweek 32 this weekend. The return of the Premier League also means the return of our ones to watch. Unfortunately, our gameweek 31 ones to watch endured a gameweek to forget.

However, we are confident that our gameweek 32 ones to watch will produce a far better haul. Here are the ones to watch for gameweek 32:

Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace, £4.5m)

Schlupp is down as a defender but has actually been playing a midfield role in recent weeks. The move has led to one goal and three assists from the versatile Ghana international.

Schlupp faces two very different fixtures in gameweek 32, as the Eagles host bottom of the table Huddersfield before being the first visitors to Tottenham’s first ever visitors to their new stadium in midweek.

The Huddersfield game offers big returns at both ends of the pitch. The Terriers have scored the least goals in the top-flight this season, so a clean sheet could be on the cards. The trip to Tottenham is likely to be more about attacking returns, although the Eagles have caused Spurs problems in recent seasons.

Ross Barkley (Chelsea, £5.1m)

The former-Everton playmaker has endured a stop-start Chelsea career so far. The midfielder has been in and out of the Blues team of late. Despite his recent club form, Barkley produced two very impressive performances for England against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

Barkley would be a slight wildcard pick, but the displays for the Three Lions will give him the confidence he needs to hit form at club level. The fact that Maurizio Sarri’s side has a double gameweek involving a trip to struggling Cardiff and a home game against travel-sick Brighton means that Chelsea’s assets are attractive options.

At £5.1m, Barkley represents a bargain option for any FPL team, especially those using their free hit in gameweek 32.

David Silva (Manchester City, £8.5m)

The Spanish international looks to be a cut-price option in a City team full of expensive and impressive attacking options. England’s Raheem Sterling would be the obvious pick from the Citizens, but if you cannot afford the winger, then Silva at £8.5m represents another good option.

Silva has been a constant supplier of FPL points in recent seasons. This season the former Valencia star has scored six times and produced six assists too. In fact, three of those assists have been in his last five league outings.

The Citizens are favourites to win at Fulham and at home against Cardiff. The only negative for Silva would be that the midfielder may not play both games for the champions.

Gerard Deulofeu (Watford, £5.6m)

The highly inconsistent former Barcelona star has the ability to cause any team defensive trouble. The Spaniard seems to have found a touch of consistency of late for the Hornets. Deulofeu has now scored four goals and produced two assists in his last four league appearances. The statistics suggest that the Spaniard could be set for a big return in the near future, as he has had eight shots on goal in the last three gameweeks.

The forward has a mixed double gameweek in 32, with a trip to Manchester United before the Hornets host relegation-threatened Fulham in midweek.
