On Monday 05th October, the European transfer window slams shut. Many clubs will expect a highly busy day of incomings and outcomings. Here are a few players who could be on the move before the deadline expires:

Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea to Tottenham/PSG, Loan)

The two London clubs are in talks over a loan move until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports. The Germany international has two years left on his deal at Stamford Bridge. The report suggests that the Blues will look to extend the centre-backs contract before his temporary switch across Europe. However, French giants PSG are also interested in signing the 27-year-old in a temporary loan deal.

Edinson Cavani (Free agent to Manchester United)

The veteran Uruguayan is in talks to join the Premier League outfit in what is likely to be a two-year deal. Cavani left PSG in the summer when his contract expired, as the Parisians had other attacking options, including Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

He has been prolific during his career in the French capital, scoring 200 goals in 301 appearances for the team from the French capital. His signing adds to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking options and the young forwards in the United squad may be able to learn from the 33-year-old.

Ben Godfrey (Norwich to Everton, £25m up to £30m with add-ons)

The England under-21 international was at Goodison Park on Saturday for the Toffees 4-2 home win over Brighton. The 22-year-old has established a big reputation in Norfolk as a bright young defender with the potential to get even better in the future. Godfrey can also play as a defensive midfielder, which may well be useful for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, who currently have first choice number six Allan out through injury.

Lucas Torreira (Arsenal to Atletico Madrid, Loan)

According to the Daily Mirror, the Uruguayan midfielder has had a medical with the club from the Spanish capital ahead of completing a move until the end of the season. The deal will likely contain an option to purchase the former Sampdoria player next summer. Torreira has endured mixed fortunes since arriving in north London from Samp in 2018. He has yet to feature in the English top-flight this season, so the deal makes sense for all parties involved.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (Angers to Wolves, £20m)

Wolves look set to sign highly-rated French under-21 international Rayan Ait-Nouri for a fee in the region of £20m. The 19-year-old is set to come in as a replacement for Ruben Vinagre, who is in Greece ahead of a medical to join Olympiakos on-loan, with a view to a permanent move worth £20million next summer.

Moise Kean (Everton to PSG, Loan)

The former-Juventus star could be heading to PSG on an initial season-long loan deal. According to the Athletic, details are still being ironed out between the two clubs. The 20-year-old only joined Everton last summer for a fee of around £27million.

He has struggled to find his best form on Merseyside and the form of the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison in the Everton attack means the youngster would have struggled for regular action this season. However, it will not be any easier in Paris, as he will be competing with the likes of Mbappe and Neymar for first-team football.
