No sooner has gameweek 35 finishes in FPL, gameweek 36 kicks-off. Our picks in gameweek 36 enjoyed mixed results, as two of our four picks returned points. We are looking for better this time around, so here are our picks for gameweek 36:

Lucas Digne (Everton, £6.1m)

While Everton have not always been solid defensively this season, Digne is a double threat, as the Frenchman also offers an attacking threat, plus the big potential for bonus points. The Toffees defensive displays have improved of late, as Carlo Ancelotti’s team has kept clean sheets in three of their last four Premier League outings.

Digne has also picked up an assist and five bonus points in that run of games. A home game against bottom of the table Sheffield United next match offers the French international full-back the chance to add to his ever-burgeoning points at both ends of the pitch.

Raphinha (Leeds, £5.4m)

The Brazilian winger has experienced some injury problems of late that have kept him sidelined. However, it seems the former Rennes star is now back to full fitness ahead of a run of games against Burnley, Southampton and West Brom, which at this point of the season looks like a comfortable run of games.

He produced an assist on his return from injury last time out against Tottenham, which means that he has scored six goals and produced nine assists in the top-flight this season. His tally is a good one for a player that is considered a budget asset.

Michail Antonio (West Ham, £6.5m)

The Hammers and their main attacking threat have seen their league form dipped of late, as they slipped further behind in the race for the top-four this season. David Moyes’ team travels to Brighton this weekend knowing that they must keep winning their games. The Seagulls will be without key defenders Lewis Dunk and Joel Veltman for the fixture.

Antonio looks like a great pick at £6.5m, especially the Irons look like they have a good run until the end of the season. Still with something to play for, Antonio could play a big role in the run-in.

Patrick Bamford (Leeds, £6.4m)

The former Chelsea forward has had an impressive campaign scoring 15 times and also producing a further ten assists. The attacking returns had dried up slightly of late until Bamford scored against Tottenham last time out.

The team from Yorkshire have made a solid return to the Premier League table and a top-half finish is within sight. However, the Whites head coach Marcelo Bielsa is not a man to let his teams rest on their laurels. Bamford and his teammates look to have three promising fixtures to end their league campaign, starting with a trip to Burnley on Saturday afternoon. The Clarets have fitness doubts over goalkeeper Nick Pope, which Bamford could capitalise on.
