Our gameweek ten FPL picks for season 2021/22

Here we are at gameweek ten of FPL and looking forward to another action-packed weekend of action. The less said about our gameweek nine picks the better, although Tino Livramento at least produced points for us. As always, we will strive for more points in the next gameweek. So, here are our gameweek ten FPL picks:

Mason Mount (Chelsea, £7.5m)

The England midfielder scored a hat-trick against Norwich in a 7-0 home win last time out after playing his first 90 minutes since gameweek three. His impact on the team has not quite been the same this season as the last few campaigns. However, now that he is fully fit and is full of confidence he should push on from here.

The Blues visit Newcastle this weekend before hosting Burnley. Both games look promising for Mount to build on his first league goals of the season.

Phil Foden (Manchester City, £8.1m)

Similarly, to England teammate Mount, Foden has had his minutes managed in the Premier League by his head coach. In fact, the midfielder featured in just one of the first five league matches of the season.

However, the youngster has now been in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven in the last four gameweeks. Those gameweeks have been fruitful, as Foden has scored three times, while also producing two assists.

In recent matches, he has also been playing in a more advanced role that has allowed him to get closer to the opposition goal. At £8.1m, the youngster appears to be a bargain, especially with a home game against goal-friendly Crystal Palace this weekend. The one caveat is that we always need to beware of the Pep-roulette. On current form, it looks unlikely that Foden will be dropped though.

Hee-Chan Hwang (Wolves, £5.7m)

The South Korean forward just keeps adding to his reputation as an FPL bargain. His price has risen to £5.7, but even at that price he stills offers unrivalled value when it comes to forward players.

Last time out, Hwang scored his third goal in as many league appearances in a 1-1 draw at Leeds. The goal helped the RB Leipzig-loanee pick up two more bonus points. The game saw Hwang pick up bonus points for the third time this season. A home game against an Everton struggling to defend of late looks a promising one for Hwang to continue his recent good form.

Do you fancy Hwang to score against Everton this weekend and want to place a bet? Well, why not visit our betting page for the bookmakers we recommend for your wager.

Richarlison (Everton, £7.4m)

The Brazilian international had been sidelined in recent weeks through injury, which is unsurprising considering he has played non-stop football for 12 months. However, the former-Watford star return from the bench against his former club last time out, scoring within five minutes of his introduction. The goal will be enough for the mercurial forward to return to the Toffees starting eleven against Wolves on Monday night.

The team from the Midlands are one of the Brazilian’s favourite opponents. The forward has scored five times in six meetings with the team from the Midlands, including on his Toffees debut. Bruno Lage’s team has yet to keep a home clean sheet, so Richarlison will fancy his chances of adding to his goal tally against the team from the Midlands.

Will any of our gameweek ten picks be in your FPL team?
