It is in Europe that the huge number of teams that are going to be playing for the UEFA European Championship trophy are all based, and this is a soccer tournament that has been around since 1960 and have become one that every single European national team will want to win!

In the final stages of the tournament there are going to be 24 teams in that stage and there are going to be 55 teams that are eligible to enter the qualification stages too, and that is what does make this tournament one that is popular with soccer fans, as there is a chance their favourite European national team could win it.
