Udinese attacking midfielder Lazar Samardzic has admitted he wants to move to a big club after continuing to impress at the start of this season.

The 21-year-old Serbian international has scored twice in Serie A already and was open about his desire to leave the Dacia Arena at his nearest opportunity today.

Amid speculation linking Samardzic to a move to Inter Milan, the Berlin-born ace told Sportweek, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, “I feel I’m ready to join a top club. I want that kind of move.

Inter deal collapsed? It wasn’t about money, there were other issues but it makes no sense speaking of that now”.

It is not thought it is in Samardzic to “down tools” and force a move through to the Nerazzuri who are now considered the red-hot favorites to win Serie A despite their defeat at home to Sassuolo on Wednesday.

“I’ll spend this year at Udinese then I want top club move,” Samardzic added.
