Alexis Mac Allister is set to have the pick of top Premier League clubs this summer when he leaves Brighton and Hove Albion, including Manchester United and Liverpool.

Mac Allister, whose contract at the AMEX Stadium runs until 2025, has made it clear to his current club he wants to leave at the end of the season, and Manchester United and Liverpool lead a race that also includes Premier League table-toppers Arsenal, according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.

Alexis Mac Allister to Man United or Liverpool?

However, it is only United and Liverpool who are currently expected to put bids in for the Argentinian World Cup winner, who has scored eight Premier League goals in a very impressive campaign for the Seagulls. Mac Allister feels the time is right now to take the next step and is expected to make a decision about his future at the end of the season.

Mac Allister, who joined Brighton and Hove Albion back in 2019, is the son of former Boca Juniors player Carlos Mac Allister and his ancestry can be traced back to Scotland and Ireland.
