Reports this morning suggest that Man City want to sign Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney this summer

Tierney, 25, has found himself down the pecking order at Arsenal this season after the signing of Ukrainian full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko and the Scotland international has now been linked with the Premier League champions, who are actively looking for a new left-back this summer.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are also rumored to have the Gunners’ full-back on their summer wishlist.

Kieran Tierney transfer latest: Man City enter race

It wouldn’t be the first time Arsenal and Man City have combined to complete a transfer, with Zinchenko and Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus leaving the Etihad Stadium for the Gunners last summer. And according to Football Insider Tierney, who joined Arsenal from Celtic for reportedly $31m in 2019, is now been considered by Pep Guardiola as the Blues look to plug a gap at left-back with the imminent departures of Joao Cancelo and Benjamin Mendy this summer leaving no out-and-out left-backs left at the club.
