Newcastle eyeing huge summer transfer for AS Roma star

Newcastle United have set their sights on a summer move for AS Roma star Paulo Dybala, according to latest reports at Calcio Mercato Web.

The Magpies will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer in preparation for their return to the Champions League after a 20-year absence. Dybala could be tempted with a move to the Premier League, especially if Roma are unable to qualify for the Champions League.

The Argentinean forward has been a standout star for the Serie A giants throughout this season. Dybala only signed for Roma in the 2022 summer transfer window, but he has scored eleven goals and registered six assists in 23 league outings for Jose Mourinho’s side this season.

It is believed that Dybala will be looking for a new club this summer if Roma fail to qualify for the Champions League. Newcastle United looks set to be able to offer playing time in the competition next season, as they comfortably sit in the top four places in the Premier League.
