Chelsea transfer news: Kendry Paez signs for Blues on a long-term deal
Despite being just 15 years old, Paez has already made his debut for his club in this season’s Copa Libertadores and is seen as one of the hottest prospects to come out of South America in recent years. The deal is a major coup for the Blues, who will still have to wait two years until they see the attacking midfielder at Stamford Bridge before Paez is permitted to play in Europe.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play on the right wing cutting in on his favored left foot, has so far scored five goals in 13 appearances for the Ecuador under-17 side despite not turning 16 yet.
