Arsenal will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer, as they attempt to bridge the gap to Man City. It has been reported by The Mail that Moussa Diaby could be among their top targets.

The latest reports claim that Mikel Arteta has drawn up a dream shortlist of six stars, which also includes Declan Rice and Wilfried Zaha.

The attacking areas may not need heavy investment this term, but the Gunners are unlikely to pass up on an opportunity to sign more talent in that area of the field as they prepare for their return to the Champions League.

Diaby is a player that the Gunners have monitored for a number of seasons, and the extra cash injection following Champions League qualification could ensure a move is possible this summer.

The 23-year-old has been one of the standout stars for Bayer Leverkusen this term, as he has scored nine goals and registered seven assists in 29 outings in the Bundesliga. Diaby also has previous experience of playing in the Champions League after scoring twice in six matches in the group stage this term.
