AC Milan are planning a shock summer move for the Republic of Ireland center-half Andrew Omobamidele from English club Norwich City.
Omobamidele, 20, has impressed in a disappointing season for the Canaries this term and Norwich manager David Wagner would consider selling the young defender for a fee of around $25m this summer in order to fund revamping his squad, according to the Irish Independent writers Mike McGrath and John Percy.

The Irish international has stepped up to the plate in Norwich’s first season back in the Championship following their relegation from England’s top tier last year, with the young defender making 33 appearances in the league, scoring once, and captaining the side for the first time this term.
Omobamidele would join fellow English defender Fikayo Tomori at the San Siro if he makes the move in the summer with French club Nice also rumored to be interested in the 20-year-old’s services.
