Man City have become the latest club to be linked with USMNT star Yunus Musah after City scouts were spotted watching the 20-year-old playing for Valencia.

As reported last month, Arsenal and Liverpool held an interest in the New York-born winger but according to Spanish sports website ElDesmarque, Musah is being closely monitored by Pep Guardiola’s side as they look set to lose midfielders Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan this summer.

Musah will be preparing for his side’s visit to Celta Vigo on Sunday with Valencia currently locked in a relegation fight, currently sitting just outside of the relegation zone only on goal difference with five games to go.

Musah’s explosive pace has been matched by his versatility this season, showing wisdom beyond his age for struggling Valencia, who have not been relegated from La Liga since 1986. As well as City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, it has also been revealed that scouts from Crystal Palace, Leicester City, and West Ham are also keeping close tabs on the American, whose contract at the Mestalla runs until 2026.
