Championship club Sunderland are in advanced talks to sign Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid-bound Jude.

According to Sky Sports, 17-year-old Jobe Bellingham was a guest at the Stadium of Light for Sunderland’s 2-1 win over Luton Town in the Championship Play-Off first leg. Bellingham will cost the Black Cats around $3.7 and is seen as the ideal next step in the player’s progression, joining up for a second time with first-team coach Mike Dodds who was credited for discovering the two brothers.

Bellingham made 22 league appearances for a struggling Blues team that ended up finishing 17th in the Championship table this season, nine points above the relegation zone.
