Newcastle United’s place in next season’s Champions League has been confirmed, and the club could waste little time in adding reinforcements, according to Marca.
The Magpies have been linked with a move for Chelsea loanee Joao Felix. The reports claim that the Portuguese international is keen to sign for a team that will be playing in next season’s Champions League, effectively ruling out a return to Stamford Bridge.

The 23-year-old will certainly be on the move this summer as Diego Simone is unconvinced by the forward. However, Atletico Madrid will be keen to recoup a significant amount of $120 million that was spent on the Portuguese international.
The reports claim that the La Liga giants will demand at least $90 million for the former Benfica star.
Felix has spent the second half of the season on loan at Chelsea, and has scored three goals in 18 appearances for Frank Lampard’s side. However, his desire to play in the Champions League could force him to weigh up other options this summer.
