Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba will leave the Catalan giants at the end of the season, according to multiple sources today.

The 34-year-old has won 17 titles during his 11-year spell at the club, including six La Liga championships and a Champions League in 2015. However, this season the experienced defender has lost his place in the Barca back four to La Masia graduate Alejandro Balde and will be released as a free agent next month.

Spanish international Alba set to depart Nou Camp after 11 years

According to various sources, including Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, Alba is set to become the second veteran to leave the Nou Camp at the end of the season, following the announcement captain Sergio Busquets is also departing the club after Barca’s friendly with Japanese side Vissel Kobe on 6 June.

The diminutive full-back joined Barcelona back in 2012 from Valencia for$15m and was an ever-present at the Nou Camp for a decade, making well over 450 appearances in all competitions in Red and Blue.
