Popular US gym influencer Joey Swoll has criticized Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk after the Ukrainian filmed an elderly man working out in a local gym.

Despite being one of England’s most expensive soccer players, Mudryk has landed himself in hot water after Swoll called him out for a recent fitness-shaming clip he posted.

Taking to his social media recently, Chelsea’s Mudryk shared a clip of an elderly man using a rowing machine. Unfortunately for the man, his lower half was slightly exposed, prompting Mudryk to attempt to shame him.

In response to Mudryk’s attempts to embarrass the elderly man, Swoll said on Social Media, “So you see that man at the gym working hard trying to better himself with a trainer, he’s in an embarrassing situation, yes, he’s a little exposed, and you decide ‘hey – let me take a video of it to post on social media to make fun of him all for attention’ – Really?”. 

“Pardon my language, but what the fu** is wrong with you?

“You’re a professional soccer player and you play for Chelsea in the Premier League, is this how you want to represent yourself and your team?”
