Former Man United and Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is looking to return to the Premier League this summer after his contract at Marseille comes to an end at the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign.

The former Man United flop has rediscovered his form with the French side this term, as he has scored 14 goals and registered three assists in 34 Ligue 1 outings.

Sanchez looking for transfer return to the Premier League

It has been reported by The Sun that Sanchez will be looking to return to the Premier League. The Chilean was excellent during a four-year stay at Arsenal, as he scored 80 goals in 166 matches. However, his Premier League career came to an end in 2019 after a dismal two-year stay at Old Trafford.

Man United loaned out Sanchez to Inter Milan in 2019, before he moved to the Italian capital on a permanent deal in 2020. After two years with Inter, he agreed to terminate his contract with the club.

He has resurrected his career in Ligue 1 with Marseille, scoring 18 goals across 42 matches with the team this term. Reports in Chile have claimed that the Gunners are weighing up a move, but a return to the Emirates would appear incredibly unlikely.
