According to recent reports, Newcastle United lead a host of clubs interested in the services of Leeds United and USMNT star man Tyler Adams.

The highly rated 24-year-old crucially missed the final 12 matches of the Whites’ unsuccessful bid to stay in the English top flight with a hamstring injury and according to 90min, the USMNT captain is likely to leave the Whites after impressing in his maiden Premier League campaign as well as at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

USMNT captain set for Premier League move

Leeds are thought to be resigned to losing the 24-year-old New Yorker who moved to Elland Road last summer under then manager Jesse Marsch for $25m. And as reported by 90min, Newcastle and Manchester United are set to fight it out with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool for the defensive midfielder’s signature.

The Leeds faithful have taken to Adams’ work rate, energy, and passing rage in what has been a disappointing season, with some fans turning their frustration towards Adams’ American compatriot Weston McKennie during the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday which condemned the Whites to Championship football next season.
