Inter Miami have allowed Romeo Beckham to join Brentford on a permanent deal after spending the last six months with the Premier League side.

Beckham joined the Bees on an initial six-month loan deal, but Thomas Frank’s side will now pay compensation to the MLS side to complete the deal on a permanent basis.

Romeo, son of Inter Miami boss David, has excelled since joining the Bees in the January window. The midfielder has been playing for the B-team, and played a key role in their successful run to Premier League Cup glory.

Beckham returned to the United States at the conclusion of the season, but following the announcement of the deal, he is expected to return to pre-season training with the B-Team later this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The Bees have also further strengthened their second string side, as they signed 18-year-old defender Ji Soo Kim from Seongnam FC earlier this week.
