Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is interested in hijacking Arsenal’s move for Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz.
The German forward played 90 minutes in his country’s 1-0 defeat to Poland last night as he signs off for the summer after Tuesday’s upcoming home fixture against Colombia in Gelsenkirchen.

Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta is still reportedly in pole position for Havertz but according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Thomas Tuchel is trying to drive the move after the pair worked together at Chelsea.
❗️X News #Havertz: He was absolutely no target in the last weeks. Arsenal has entered the race in the last days. Bayern has changed their plans NOW!

Tuchel’s departure at Stamford Bridge has coincided with Havertz’s loss of form and at times the forward looked disillusioned last season. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal’s opening bid for the German was rejected but they continue to remain in talks with the Blues, who expect another potential club to join the race for the tall 24-year-old this summer.
