Serie A giants AC Milan have opened talks with Valencia over the signing of USMNT international Yunus Musah.

Speculation over the New York native’s future has grown throughout the summer so far but his destination is now looking likely to have been decided with the San Siro club prepared to submit their opening offer in the next few days.

Yunus Musah set to sign for AC Milan

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri can now concentrate on bringing the 20-year-old to the club following their work on signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek- a deal that has yet to be confirmed by the club- and in organizing the departure for Sandro Tonali who is set to join Newcastle United this summer.

A bid of around $22m will likely be enough to acquire Musah this summer, whose potential was also spotted by an array of Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace and West Ham United.
