Chelsea could be set to add another striker to their squad this summer, as the Blues have reportedly opened talks with AS Roma over a move for Paulo Dybala.

Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of the Argentinean and believes that a cut-price deal can be reached, according to Pedro Almeida, via Express.

Chelsea believe that a deal to sign Dybala can be reached due to a clause in his contract. The forward enjoyed an excellent first season at the Stadio Olimpico following his free transfer to AS Roma last summer.

The 29-year-old scored 17 goals for Jose Mourinho’s side across all competitions, and was a key player in the team that reached the final of the Europa League.

Clubs from outside of Italy have been put on red alert, as it has been reported that he could be available for as little as $18 million.

Dybala was previously linked with a move to Manchester United, but the forward opted to remain at Juventus for 12 months before leaving for AS Roma on a free transfer last summer.
