Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay could be set to leave Old Trafford this summer for West Ham United.
West Ham manager David Moyes is reportedly a fan of his fellow Scot, who is likely to have his already limited first-team opportunities restricted even further next season after the arrival of Mason Mount earlier this week.
Scott McTominay set for summer switch?
Despite rarely appearing for the Red Devils, the 26-year-old has been in fine form for the Scottish national team this year, scoring five goals for his country including two against Spain in a 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifier win at Hampden Park in March.
And according to the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg, Moyes has singled out McTominay as well as former Chelsea midfielder Denis Zakaria and Everton’s Amadou Onana as midfield replacements for outgoing club captain Declan Rice who is set to depart the London Stadium for Arsenal in the coming days for a mind-boggling $132m.
