Riyadh Mahrez’s future at Manchester City is in doubt with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli preparing to make the Algerian captain a lucrative offer this week.
Mahrez, 32, is thought to be interested in the move after falling down the pecking order during the second half of last season under Pep Guardiola.
Riyadh Mahrez set to leave Man City?
Despite limited appearances off the bench, Mahrez managed to contribute 15 goals in all competitions for City during their treble-winning season and would prove to be a superb asset to the Jeddah-based outfit- who have already snapped up former Liverpool ace Roberto Fimino this summer.
It is thought that the Pro League club are also sniffing around Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane in order to re-create a star-studded former Premier League front three and according to CBS’ Ben Jacobs, Mahrez has been discussing personal terms with last season’s Saudi league champions since last month.
