New England Revolution have agreed a deal in principle to sign Mark-Anthony Kaye from Toronto FC with Latif Blessing heading in the other direction.

As first reported by The Blazing Musket’s Seth Macomber, Ghanian Blessing is heading to Toronto only six months after joining from LAFC where he won two Supporters’ Shields and one MLS Cup. He has made 15 appearances with the Revs this year but has failed to make a real impact at the Gillette Stadium.

On the other hand Kaye, 28, is set to make the switch to Massachusetts after spending just a year at his hometown club for Toronto. The Reds are looking to make significant changes to the squad after firing head coach Bob Bradley. Kaye has made 40 appearances for the Canadian national team, scoring twice.
