Andre Onana is close to completing his move to Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed a fee with Inter Milan for the Cameroonian international.

The 27-year-old is set to move to England for $56.6m with an additional $4.4m in add-ons and will undergo his medical with Erik Ten Hag’s men today.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of his move to Old Trafford, Onana said, “I want and I hope to win the Champions League at Manchester United. I really want to start this new exciting experience, with a coach who is a master for me.”

Onana worked together with Ten Hag at Ajax for four years between 2018 and 2022, winning three Eredivisie titles together.

And last season’s Champions League finalist added, “I will go to a great league and a great club, which has a huge history just like that of Inter. I will start from scratch and give everything every day to show the new fans who I am.”
