Man United will be looking to increase the fee being offered by Galatasaray when discussing the deal with officials. United are looking for a fee in the region of $24 million, with the Turkish club having opened talks with a deal worth a reported $12 million.

The 30-year-old was a key part of Erik ten Hag’s team last season, but the Brazilian is keen to take on a new challenge. Recent reports have claimed that United will be looking at a number of midfield options to replace Fred, with a move for Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat among the options being discussed.
