Officials from Bayern Munich have arrived in London to discuss with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy a potential move for star forward Harry Kane.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal has now entered a critical stage with direct talks set to continue today. The England captain is considered to want the move but the German champions are yet to meet Tottenham in their evaluation for Kane.

Harry Kane set for move to Germany?

Bayern will offer more than the $88m package which was previously turned down by Spurs with Ange Postecoglou reportedly planning for life without Kane this season.

Bayern president Herbert Hainer said recently about talks with Spurs, “We respect Daniel Levy as a professional”.

The German champions are without a considered world-class number nine after Robert Lewandowski left for Barcelona last summer and with Sadio Mane set to move to Al Nassr, Thomas Tuchel is keen on new attacking recruits to bolster a squad which only secured the Bundesliga championship on the last day of the season in May.
