Chelsea are set to dip into the French market again and sign French under 19 international Lesley Ugochukwu.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, all contracts have now been signed with an official announcement expected to be made soon. Ugochukwu has reportedly already met his new Chelsea teammates but is expected to be sent straight back out on loan this season with French side Strasbourg interested.

The teenage sensation established himself as a regular in a Rennes side that finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season- helping The Red and Blacks qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
Speaking of his new acquisition, head coach Mauricio Pochettino said, “We need experience in midfield. The idea for Lesley is a loan move to get some game time”.
Ugochukwu will become one of two French arrivals at Stamford Bridge this week alongside 25-year-old central defender Axel Disasi after a $50m fee was agreed with Monaco.
