Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has refused to rule out wing wizard Michael Olise leaving the club this summer with Manchester City and Chelsea keeping tabs on the 21-year-old’s situation.
Olise is currently recovering from a hamstring injury suffered whilst playing for the France under-21’s this summer and is available for just $44m this summer after it was confirmed the London-born star has a release clause in his contract.
Michael Olise the subject of transfer speculation
Speaking ahead of his side’s opening Premier League fixture of the season against Sheffield United on Saturday, Hodgson confirmed to the media that he had doubts about whether Olise would stay at Selhurst Park beyond September 1.
Hodgson told Sky Sports, “No one knows at this moment. If there are clubs seriously preparing a bid and tempting him then he’ll decide. I can only wait and see what decision he will make, he knows we want to keep him”.
