Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven have emerged as favorites to sign USMNT right-back Sergino Dest from Barcelona.

According to ESPN writer Tom Hamilton, the Dutch club are keen on bringing the US international to the Philips Stadion on a season-long loan as their American revolution continues this summer.

Sergino Dest set to sign for PSV Eindhoven?

PSV have already bolstered their squad with the signings of USMNT pair Ricardo Pepi and Malik Tillman this summer and Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has been clear he wants Dest out of the door at the Nou Camp to fund a move for Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo before the end of the month.

With the Catalan giants still strapped for cash, Barca are likely to insist on an option to buy clause in Dest’s contract at PSV if a season-long loan is agreed on.

Talks continue to take place between Dest and last season’s Cup winners after the Dutch-born full-back failed to make an impact at AC Milan on loan last season.
