Manchester United have approached Wolverhampton Wanders about a potential move for full-back Nelson Semedo.

The latest reports at Football Insider have claimed that Erik ten Hag is a huge admirer of the player, and he could create competition for Aaron Wan-Bisakka in the right-back position.

Nelson Semedo attracting interest from Man United

The Red Devils were in the market for an attacking full-back earlier in the summer, and they could reignite that interest in the final days of the summer window.

United have already made contact with their Premier League rivals, and a deal could be struck due to the fact that Wolves still need to sell players to meet FFP regulations.

Semedo has already featured in both of the club’s Premier League fixtures this season, which includes their opening day showdown against the Red Devils.

The Portuguese international played 41 times for Wolves across all competitions last season, registering two assists. He signed for the Black Country club in a $42 million deal from Barcelona in 2020.
