Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe looks set to formalize his exit over the coming days, as the winger is closing in on a move to Saudi Arabia.

The Ivory Coast international joined the Gunners for a club-record fee, but he is nearing a move to the Middle East after turning down Besiktas, according to RMC via Metro.

Arsenal have been open to offers for Pepe throughout the summer, as Mikel Arteta doesn’t see the winger as part of his long-term plans.

The winger has reportedly turned down a move to Turkish giants Besiktas, and it looks likely that he will agree terms with an unnamed Saudi Pro League side.

Pepe joined Arsenal from Lille for $80 million in 2019. However, he has struggled throughout his career at the Emirates, having scored just 27 goals in 112 appearances across all competitions.
