Fulham have made an enquiry to Tottenham Hotspur over the last couple of days about potentially making a move for Eric Dier.
The central defender hasn’t been included in the matchday squad for each of Tottenham’s opening Premier League matches under Ange Postecoglou this term.
Eric Dier could move on this summer
Postecoglou has continued to indicate that Dier has a future in North London, but his absence from the first two matchday squads of the season would be an issue.
Fulham have reportedly shown an interest in the central defender, according to Sky Sports, and the Cottagers could make a formal bid before the end of the transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been at Tottenham since 2014, and was part of the Spurs teams that reached the 2015 League Cup final and 2019 Champions League final.
Dier has also been a key player for Gareth Southgate at international level, having represented England at the World Cups in 2018 and 2022, and was part of the EURO 2016 squad.
