Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are considering a move for England international defender Eric Dier.

Dier, 29, has lost his place at the heart of the Tottenham defense under new head coach Ange Postecoglou and according to BILD reporter Christian Falk, the Lilywhites have offered the center back to the Bavarians as an exit towards the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium edges nearer.

Eric Dier set for German champions?

As reported earlier today, Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel wants a new central defender to replace the outgoing Benjamin Pavard with negotiations also continuing with Chelsea over the signing of Trevor Chalobah.

Dier would be a considerably cheaper option than Chalobah due to his age and personal terms are not thought to be a problem with the England international who would join up with ex-Spurs teammate and good friend Harry Kane at the Allianz Arena if the deal gets the go-ahead before the end of the week.
