Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati has completed his season-long loan move to Brighton and Hove Albion in one of the biggest shocks of the transfer window.
The 20-year-old scored seven times last season for the Catalan giants and was beginning to show the form that made him one of the most exciting young stars in world football when he burst onto the scene at just 16.

The news of Fati’s transfer was first announced by Brighton’s official social media platforms. Speaking of his new signing, excited head coach Roberto De Zerbi said, “This is a great deal for all of us. As reported by Soccer Times, Fati will instantly earn almost $ 200,000 a week, nearly double that of the next highest earner at the Amex Stadium- veteran midfielder Adam Lallana.
Fati will wear the vacant number 31 shirt this season for the Seagulls- the same number he wore in his debut campaign for Barcelona.
