LA Galaxy have rejected an offer from Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor for star striker Dejan Joveljic.
The 24-year-old Serbian international was on the scoresheet against San Jose Earthquakes in the Galaxy’s 3-2 win at the end of last month but has so far failed to find the form he showed last year.
Dejan Joveljic wanted by Tranzonspor
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish side have not reached an agreement for Joveljic contrary to reports. The Turkish transfer window does not shut until September 15 which means The Burgundy Blues still have more than enough time to come back with an improved offer.

Joveljic, a two-time Serbian SuperLiga champion with Red Star Belgrade, formed a deadly partnership with former Manchester United and Real Madrid goal poacher Javier Hernandez, with the pair notching 30 times in the MLS between them last season.
This year, however, has proved to be a different story and Joveljic has bagged just three goals in 23 MLS appearances as the Galaxy look destined to miss out on this year’s playoffs.
