Paris Saint-Germain youngster Ilyes Housni has today left the Ligue 1 champions on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old made his league debut for the club last season and has signed a year-long deal with Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd.

Ilyes Housni signs for Al Sadd

The news was confirmed by the Doha-based outfit and is also likely to see Housni change his nationality from France to Qatar in order to gain more opportunities at international level as well.

The move is currently under scrutiny according to L’Equipe, along with Marco Verratti’s transfer to Al Arabi and Julian Draxler’s move from Paris Saint-Germain to Al Ahli SC. It is understood UEFA judges are likely to investigate whether the relationship between the Qatari-owned French champions’ and Qatari clubs is too close.

If found guilty, the Parisians will not be able to include the sales into their accounts to help with their obligations with Financial Fair Play Regulations.
