USMNT right back Bryan Reynolds is expected to leave Serie A giants Roma this summer after impressing on loan in Belgium.

According to The Athletic’s Tom Bogert, the 21-year-old defender has excelled at Antwerp-based Westerlo this season playing 31 matches and scoring once, in a successful season that currently sees his side sitting seventh in the Juniper Pro League.

The Texan has been an attacking threat this season for De Kemphanen, providing five league assists, and according to reports in the US, Roma are keen to cash in on the player despite rejecting an initial bid from Westerlo to keep Reynolds at the club past the conclusion of his current loan deal.

Reynolds has failed to make a real impact at Jose Mourniho’s Roma, only making six appearances over two seasons for the Yellow and Reds.
