Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher could be part of the Blues’ summer mass exodus with Brighton and Hove Albion keen on a move.
The attack-minded midfielder has been linked with a move to the Seagulls by Football Insider writer Pete O’Rourke with the 23-year-old being eyed up as a potential replacement for Alexis Mac Allister.
Conor Gallagher wants the promise of first-team football
The Blues are locked in negotiations with Brighton already for midfielder Moises Caicedo and Todd Boehly is expected to try and trim his huge 33-man squad, with midfielders Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Mason Mount all expected to join N’Golo Kante out the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer.
Gallagher was a second-half substitute for England during their 7-0 demolition of North Macedonia in Monday’s UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier and is reportedly available for approximately $38m. The long-haired former Crystal Palace star almost moved to Everton on transfer deadline day in January but reportedly rejected the chance to move to the North West of England.
