The President of La Liga Javier Tebas has predicted that Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid next summer.

Speaking on the Spanish TV station Movistar, Tebas stated, “Mbappé to La Liga next season? Next year, it will be between 70%-80%.”

Kylian Mbappe set for Real Madrid switch?

The 24-year-old World Cup winner has reportedly rejected a loyalty bonus worth an extraordinary $63.5m from Paris Saint-Germain in order to push through a move to Real Madrid next summer.

Mbappe’s deal at the French champions currently runs out next June meaning he will be able to join Real on a free transfer on 1 July 2024.

It is widely thought that Mbappe is waiting to hear from Los Blancos after rejecting multiple approaches from the Ligue 1 champions to extend his six-year spell in Paris.

Without a recognized world-class number nine following the sale of Karim Benzema, Real have struggled for goals at times this season and looked a shadow of their former selves in their 3-1 defeat at the hands of bitter city rivals Atletico Madrid yesterday.
