Premier League giants Manchester United and Newcastle are the latest clubs to show an interest in 19-year-old starlet Adama Bojang.

Bojang starred at the recent Under-20 World Cup for his nation Gambia, reaching the knockout stages where they lost to eventual winners Uruguay.

Adama Bojang linked with sensational move to Premier League

As reported last week, MLS side New York City FC had stolen an early march in the race for the striking sensation and according to The Guardian’s Ed Aarons, he is likely to be available for around $3.25m from Steve Biko FC in the Gambia.

According to Aarons, Bojang has also attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Wolves, and Crystal Palace due to his impressive performances in Argentina.

It is understood that at this stage Bojang would prefer a move to Bundesliga, with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt also linked. Despite never playing in Europe, Bojang could qualify for a UK work permit under the Governing Body Endorsement criteria for international player visas which was approved by the Home Office last week.
