FIFA Confederations Cup

One aspect of being an avid solid football fan that can take quite some getting used to, is learning about each of the many different soccer tournaments that are being held across the globe. It is true to say that every single continent is going to have several different tournaments up and running at certain times of the year!

Therefore, to complement my ever-growing range of soccer tournament guides, in this one I am going to be taking a much closer look at the FIFA Confederations Cup tournament and will be giving you plenty of information surrounding it, for the trophy awarded to the winner is always won by the best team of the season.

However, what makes this a soccer tournament trophy worth winning and quite a prestigious one too is that it is made up on teams that are international ones as opposed to teams that are from just one country or continent.

The FIFA Confederations Cup was only recently found that being back in 1992 and there are just 8 team from 6 different confederations that play in the tournament.

The current champions are Germany who have only won it once, however the most successful team to date is Brazil for they have won the trophy no more than 4 times. There is of course an official FIFA Confederations Cup website that will give you information on up and coming matches and will let you know how to get tickets to any of those matches too.
