It is going to be the 12th time that the FA Cup Final is going to be held at the newly remodelled Wembley Stadium, however as it has only just been announced that stadium may be up for sale I doubt there will be many other finals held there in the future if the sale does go ahead.

The final game to determine the winner of the FA Cup is of course being played by Manchester United and Chelsea and it is all scheduled to kick off at half past five in the afternoon on Saturday May the 19th.

Below I am going to be looking at the matches that were played to determine the final two teams and will be letting you know what the score of those matches were too.

Semi Final

The first Semi Final was played on Sunday 22 April 2018 and that match was the one in which Chelsea FC got through to the final with a score of 2 – 0 against Southampton FC.

The other Semi Final played was on the Saturday 21 April 2018 and it was during that match that Manchester United FC secured their place in the final by scoring 2 – 1 against Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Quarter Final

Below I am going to walk you through each of the Quarter Finals that were part of the FA Cup tournament his year and will be giving you an insight into the team that played in each match along with the final score of course.

On Sunday 18 March 2018 Wigan Athletic FC played in the match that ended in a score of 0 – 2 against Southampton FC.

Later in the day is was the tern of Leicester City FC who lost that match with a score of 1 – 2 against their opponents that being Chelsea FC.

The matches that took place on Saturday 17 March 2018 included the Swansea City FC   match that ended in them losing 0 – 3 against Tottenham Hotspur FC.

The other match played that day was the Manchester United FC match which they won 2 – 0 and it was Brighton and Hove Albion FC that they were playing against.

Fifth Round Proper

Below is an overview of the matches in the fifth round proper and the final score of each of those matches too.

Wednesday 28 February 2018 – Tottenham Hotspur FC  6 – 1 Rochdale AFC.

Tuesday 27 February 2018 – Swansea City FC 2 – 0 Sheffield Wednesday FC.

Monday 19 February 2018 Wigan Athletic FC 1 – 0 Manchester City FC.

Sunday 18 February 2018 Rochdale AFC 2 – 2 Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Saturday 17 February 2018

Sheffield Wednesday FC 0 – 0 Swansea City FC.

West Bromwich Albion FC 1 – 2 Southampton FC.

Brighton & Hove Albion FC 3 – 1 Coventry City FC.

Huddersfield Town FC 0 – 2 Manchester United FC.

Friday 16 February 2018

Leicester City FC 1 – 0 Sheffield United FC.

Chelsea FC 4 – 0 Hull City.
