The Grand Daddy of the Premierships, the Serie A was founded (officially) a whopping 120 years ago. Being Italian, it is overseen by UEFA and comprises of 20 teams competing for the title of Champions.

Currently the champions are Juventus, who also hold the record for most titles with and impressive 33 titles. Matches are Televised on SKY Italia, however, if you have a Sports Subscription with Sky, you’ll more than likely be able to watch the match regardless of which country you’re in.

It only adopted the Round Robin style in 1929, though there are conflicting accounts of both its birth year and when it adopted the Round Robin tournament style, though that being said, it’s highly probable that Serie A heavily influenced the method in which UEFA works for both Domestic and International cups.

Never a country, or language to over complicate things, relegation from Serie A goes to (surprising) Serie B.
