The Blues visit the Canaries, as the Red Devils host the Eagles

Once again, we have another busy Saturday in the Premier League as we reach the gameweek 3. Here are the games taking place in the English top-flight:

The Canaries looking to fly high against Chelsea

Newly-promoted Norwich City have experienced mixed fortunes so far in their two games in the top-flight since winning promotion. On gameweek one, Daniel Farke’s team suffered a heavy defeat at Liverpool before the Canaries recorded a 3-1 home win over Newcastle last time out.

In Saturday’s early kick-off, Norwich face a potentially tough home match against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Carrow Road.

Norwich will once again look to star striker Teemu Pukki for attacking inspiration. The 29-year-old was prolific last season in the Championship. The Finnish star has already scored four times in the top-flight this season. With Chelsea looking indecisive in defence, the former Celtic forward could well add to his goal tally in this clash.

Chelsea have started the campaign with two poor results, picking up just one point from games against Manchester United and last time out Leicester. However, the Blues have produced some decent football in both games.

The visitor’s recent record in the Premier League dating back to last season is a poor one. The team from south west London has won just one of their last seven league matches. The Blues have also won just two of their last ten away games in the Premier League, including failing to win in their last four on their travels. Despite their recent poor stats, Chelsea are still slight favourites to overcome the Canaries.

Wan-Bissaka set for a reunion with the Eagles

Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set for an early reunion with former club Crystal Palace, as the Red Devils host the Eagles at Old Trafford.

United have kicked off their campaign by taking four points from a possible six from games against Chelsea and last time out Wolves. Wan-Bissaka himself has made a solid start to life with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

In spite of what has been a pretty positive start to the new season, United head into this clash on the back of just one win in seven top-flight games. The opening day 4-0 win over Chelsea ended a three-game winless run for the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

French forward Anthony Martial will be one to watch for the Red Devils. The former Monaco star has started the season with goals in both of United’s Premier League games. He and Marcus Rashford have been interchanging, so often Martial is playing as his team’s central striker.

Crystal Palace have not quite got going in the Premier League so far. The Eagles followed an opening weekend goalless draw against Everton with a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United last time out. This season’s results mean that the Eagles have an inconsistent recent record in the Premier League. However, the defeat at Sheffield United ended a five-game unbeaten run in the top-flight.

Roy Hodgson’s side has a very creditable away recent record in the Premier League, winning five of their last seven matches on their travels.
